Online learning lets you access programs and courses that might have otherwise been inaccessible or highly inconvenient. Cabrillo College is committed to supporting students seeking flexible options to learn. Your success online is important to us, and we will strive to help you any way we can. This page is dedicated to showing you the resources for your distance education at Cabrillo. Cabrillo uses Canvas learning management system (LMS) for all online courses. To login to Cabrillo Canvas learning management system, you will need your username and password.

The Watsonville Integrated Learning Center offers online tutoring and counseling services, including bilingual tutoring for Math, Writing, Spanish and a Virtual Study Space.
Online tutoring is also available through the HUB's Tutoring Center. The HUB offers tutoring in a variety of topics through the Tutoring Center (TC) and online tutoring is available via Canvas.

Frequently Asked Questions About Distance Education at Cabrillo
To receive an Associate's Degree, you must complete the General Education requirements in addition to courses offered in your major. See the Catalog for degree requirements. Additional courses are required to meet admission requirements to the CSU and UC. Counselors are available to help you make good choices about programs. Appointments can be scheduled with a Counselor by calling (831) 479-6274.
Students who are registered or waitlisted for classes in the current semester will have access to Canvas. The username and password for are managed in . Your seven-digit college ID number is the username. Be sure to include all of the leading zeros on your when you log in. For example, 0001234 would work, but 1234 would not.
Students who are waitlisted for classes will have access to Canvas courses in read only mode. Most instructors open their Canvas course the week before classes. See the Schedule of Classes or for late starting courses.
If the instructor has room in the class, they will issue an add authorization in Self-Service so you can officially register. There may be up to a one-hour delay from the time that you register in Self-Service to the time when you are added to the class in Canvas.
Once you are added to the class, your role in Canvas changes from "Observer" to "Student" and you can interact with course assignments.

- Your course will appear on the Canvas Dashboard if you are registered or waitlisted for the course. The course may not be published by the instructor yet. Generally, instructors publish their courses the week before the term begins. Contact the Computer Technology Center if you don't see the course by the first day of classes.
- Canvas has a . Some courses require the use of software that can only be accessed on a laptop/desktop computer. Check with your instructor about tech requirements.
